Garmin Expands Mark Series With Five New Luxury Smartwatches Photo Credit: Exclusive Arrangement
Garmin On Thursday, it launched five new Mark Edition smartwatches for buyers in the premium and luxury segments. The second generation of the Mark series includes the Athlete, Adventurer, Golfer, Captain and Aviator smartwatches.
The Gen 2 Marq series is built with grade 5 titanium and features an AMOLED touchscreen display with a domed sapphire lens.
The premium range of smartwatches from the Swiss parent company claims a battery life of up to 16 days in smartwatch mode and 42 hours in GPS mode.
The new Mark series comes with features like jet lag advisor, wrist-based heart rate, breathing and stress tracking, advanced sleep insights, and body battery energy monitoring.

The second-generation Marc collection is made of materials such as sapphire crystal, ceramic, and jacquard weave nylon. It features elements including titanium, leather, nylon, and silicone bracelets.
Garmin claims that grade 5 titanium makes it five times stronger and harder than most steels, and is more scratch-resistant and lighter on the wrist than stainless steel. The 46mm watch case has a domed sapphire lens and an AMOLED touchscreen display.
The new combination includes support for multi-band GNSS, multi-frequency GPS (L1 + L5) and Garmin SatIQ technology.
The brand’s new smartwatches will go on sale from February 25 through online and offline channels including Amazon.

Pricing
The second generation Mark Adventure will be priced at ₹2,15,490. The Mark Athlete retails at ₹1,94,990. The Marq Aviator is priced at ₹2,46,490. The Mark Captain will retail at ₹2,25,990 and the Mark Golfer is priced at ₹2,35,990.
