Local media reported on February 18, quoting his manager, that the body of former Ghanaian international soccer player Christian Utsu has been found in Turkey following a massive earthquake.
Ghanaian footballer Christian Utso has been found dead under the building where he lived in southern Turkey following last week’s severe earthquake, the former Chelsea winger’s Turkish agent said.

“Utso’s lifeless body was found under the rubble,” Murat Azun Mehmet told reporters in Hatay, where the player’s body was found. “Currently, more items are still being recovered. His phone was also found.
Utsu was scheduled to leave southern Turkey hours before the earthquake, but Hatayspor’s manager said on Friday that the Ghanaian chose to stay with the club after scoring the game-winning goal in a Feb. 5 Super League match.
