If Personality The series can make high school fun with a groundbreaking role-playing game Why haven’t we seen a Harry Potter game in a long time? Certainly, there have been some attempts – notably, Magicians united From the people behind Pokemon Go. But no one has taken full advantage of JK Rowling’s vast magical universe. So, finally, we have a game that takes us to the lovable and adventurous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The Hogwarts Legacy Set in the late 1800s, about a century before the events of the Harry Potter series. You play the role of a newly enrolled student at Hogwarts. You have to create an entirely new character from scratch (yes, the sorting hat will choose the house you belong to). Although it works like a simulation game, there is also a narrative. You have ancient magic, which threatens the wizarding world because it attracts those who want to use it for evil means.

It’s impressive what the Avalanche team has achieved in entertaining Hogwarts. Walking through the hallowed halls with its moving staircases, quirky classrooms, spiral staircases, hidden hallways and more is quite an experience. Details — like ghosts in paintings — bustle with life as you enter the hallway.

A student’s life at Hogwarts involves attending many classes – all taught by zany professors. The diversity in the game is remarkable: you have characters from different parts of the world. We even see strange representations even though the game takes place in the 1800s. The character creator is quite comprehensive and helps you create the avatar of your dreams.

The game features a wide array of spells, potions, and magical creatures, all of which add to the game’s overall authenticity and depth.

The game’s spellcasting system is intuitive and easy to learn, but difficult to master. The real magic is where the spell system lets you create your own combinations with different spells that produce unexpected effects.

There is a touch of disappointment in the absence of the otherwise exciting sport of Quidditch. We hope this will come in a future update.

Since this is an action RPG, you can improve your skills and abilities as you progress through exploration and completing missions. Some of the action sequences may remind you of the Fantastic Beasts series. But as soon as you step outside of Hogwarts, the game becomes like any other action role-playing game.

The visuals and audio, understandably, draw heavily from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films. The voice acting is also top notch.

The Hogwarts Legacy It seems like a step in the right direction for building a gaming universe within the Wizarding World.
