Avinash Sibley, Commonwealth Games and Asian Championships silver medalist in the 3,000m steeplechase, finished 35th in 31:43 seconds at the 44th World Athletics Cross Country Championships in Bathurst, Australia on Saturday.

In the men’s section, the other Indian, Anand Singh, was 86th in 35:20 seconds.
