The Innova Crysta diesel will be relaunched sometime this month with a price announcement and bookings open, with deliveries expected from April. Despite targeting the Innova Crysta at chauffeur-driven buyers and fleet operators, the company claims that a good chunk of bookings are also coming from individual buyers. One of the main reasons is that the new Innova Hycross doesn’t have a diesel engine but only comes with a petrol or petrol hybrid powertrain.
The mid-range Innova Crysta VX and top-spec ZX will reach showrooms for customer deliveries only by June or July.
The re-introduced Innova Crysta diesel is speculated to start at the ₹20 lakh mark (ex-showroom), with the top-spec Innova Crysta ZX around ₹27 lakh. In comparison, the Innova Hycross hybrid lineup starts at ₹24.01 lakh for the VX variant, which goes up to ₹28.97 lakh for the top-spec Innova Hycross ZX (O).
