Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Saturday that there is no impact on India’s macro fundamentals and economic image. Withdrawal of Adani Group 20,000 crore of its FPO.
During the post-Budget press conference, the Finance Minister said that in the last two days alone, $8 billion worth of forex came in.
“…our macroeconomic fundamentals or the image of our economy, none of which have been affected. Yes, FPOs (follow-on public offers) come in, and FIIs come out,” Ms Seetha Raman told reporters here. out,” Ms Sitharaman told reporters here.
He said that the regulators will do their work on the Adani issue. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has the resources to ensure the stability of markets.
