The former Speaker of the Rajasthan Assembly made the comments while addressing a gathering at Shahpura in Bhalwara district on Sunday evening.
“This is my constituency. This constituency was backward and it was backward because since 1952, it has been reserved for SCs,” said the Shahpura MLA.
“…and I have no hesitation in saying that the political parties in today’s politics treat Scheduled Caste members like slaves. They do not have the freedom to speak freely. If they speak freely. So their ticket is cut.”
