Those wishing to renew their US visas can now submit their applications via Dropbox, the US embassy has clarified, adding that such applications via email will not be considered.

US embassies and consulates in India are set to receive a record number of visas from Indian students in 2023, according to John Ballard, consular chief at the US Consulate General in Mumbai.

State Department spokesman Ned Price said earlier that the U.S. had issued More student visas in FY 2022 Its embassies and consulates in India specifically broke their all-time record for the number of student visas issued in a single fiscal year, compared to any year since 2016, he added.

“This was the highest number of students we have ever adjudicated here in India and we expect that in 2023 we will have even more Indian students applying for visas,” Mr Ballard said. PTI.
